  • The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce that pending successful contract negotiations, Anne Gribbons will be named as USEF Dressage Chef d’Equipe/Technical Advisor through 2012.   • Blue Hors Matiné, the gray mare ridden by Andreas Helgstrand that captured the Grand Prix Freestyle silver medal at the 2006 World Equestrian Games and hearts of the dressage world for her extravagant gaits, has been officially retired to become a fulltime broodmare.  Here is the pair at the 2006 World Equestrian Games:

  • Anky van Grunsven rode IPS Painted Black in their first competition since an injury to the stallion earlier this year, and a record score for the partnership in the Grand Prix left no doubt they were back at their best at CDI Hansbeke.
  • Pan American Games team gold and individual silver medalists Lauren Sammis and Sagacious HF overcame 90F-degree (32C) temperatures to win both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at Centerline Events at HITS on the Hudson CDI3*.
